Erdogan's spokesman warns Armenian lobby in France, US

Normalization of ties with Armenia will help facilitate the interconnection of Armenians living in Turkey with this country, Erdogan's Press Secretary Ibrahim Kalin said.

Report quotes him as saying that, at this stage, the Armenian lobby, especially in France and the United States, must act responsibly.

"After that, it will not benefit anyone to assert that the events of 1915 were 'genocide' and to present it in a harsh manner. A new page has opened in the South Caucasus, and a new era has begun. The diaspora must take these realities into account. If this happens, an era of peace and stability will begin in the South Caucasus," Kalin said.
