Erdogan: Meeting of Azerbaijani, Turkish and Turkmen FMs made important decisions

"Important decisions were made at the meeting of foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkiye, and Turkmenistan held in Awaza," the President of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said in his meeting with the Chairperson of the People's Council of the Parliament of Turkmenistan, Gurbangulu Berdimuhamedov, Report informs.

According to him, the steps to be taken in energy, natural gas, and transport are very important: "If we lay this foundation today, we will have taken important steps towards the future. The summit of the Heads of State of Turkiye, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan will go down in history as the Awaza Summit."

Erdogan also said that Turkmenistan's full membership in the Organization of Turkic States will strengthen the organization: "The meeting of the leaders of the three countries is an indication that great steps will be taken.
