Envoy: China interested in further expanding of cooperation with Azerbaijan

China is interested in further promoting and expanding of cooperation with Azerbaijan, Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Guo Min said during the opening of the event "Dragon and Spring Festival. Chinese New Year Festival," Report informs.

“Chinese President Xi Jinping and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev have laid the foundation for strong cooperation between the two countries. China is ready to further cooperate and strengthen relations with Azerbaijan,” she said.

Having attended the event, the chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Family, Women and Children, Hijran Huseynova, emphasized the importance of the relationship between the two countries not only from an economic point of view, but also from new geopolitical realities.

“The Azerbaijan-China interparliamentary friendship group in the Milli Majlis is the largest. Delegations from China often come to Azerbaijan. This opens up new opportunities for the further development of cooperation,” she added.
