Embassy of Belarus in Azerbaijan holds events to mark 80th anniversary of victory in Great Patriotic War

The Embassy of Belarus in Azerbaijan held events to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII), the embassy wrote on X, Report informs.
The message notes that Ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan Dmitry Pinevich, together with the ambassadors of the CIS countries, laid a wreath at the Memorial Complex of Military Glory in Baku on the occasion of the next anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Pinevich also visited the Organization of Veterans of War, Labor and the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.
On behalf of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, the ambassador presented gifts to veterans who participated in the liberation of Belarus.
