Embassy advisor: Azerbaijan and Belarus always maintained high level of co-op

Azerbaijan and Belarus have always maintained a high level of cooperation, Adviser on Trade and Economic Affairs of the Belarusian Embassy in Azerbaijan Tatyana Zubritskaya said at the opening of the seminar “Azerbaijan-Belarus: investments, trade and logistics,” Report informs.

She noted that no geopolitical challenges can affect cooperation between the countries.

“The heads of our states set an example for our cooperation. Economic indicators are clear evidence of our close ties. According to the Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, based on the results of nine months of this year, Belarus is the 13th partner in imports and 26th in foreign trade turnover,” she said.

The embassy adviser emphasized that today’s event will be a practical step to bring bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.

Zubritskaya also spoke about the role of Belarus in the restoration of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan: “Currently, our task is to supply products necessary for the reconstruction of infrastructure facilities. But we are also interested in implementing projects in the field of design and construction on these lands.”
