Armenia applied to the International Court of Justice for consideration of three main issues, and one of them was related to the peaceful action held by eco-activists and representatives of civil society on the road to Lachin on December 12, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov said during a briefing on the decision of the International Court of Justice on Application of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, according to Report.
"The lawsuit was that this action was fake, and its participants allegedly acted on orders from the Azerbaijani government. Armenia applied to the court with a statement about the artificial organization of the action. On our part, photo and video evidence was presented to the court that these actions are indeed carried out by eco-activists. In the decision announced yesterday, the court canceled Armenia's petition and the assumption that the protest was organized by the government of Azerbaijan," Mammadov said.
