Egyptian Ambassador: Normalization of ties between Baku and Yerevan will ensure regional stability

Egypt supports peace talks to normalize relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which will bring stability to the region, Egyptian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hisham Mohamed Nagi Abdel Hamid told journalists, Report informs.
"We believe that all issues between the countries should be resolved peacefully. Egypt supports the process of demining the liberated territories and the steps taken to establish peace," the ambassador said.
He added that he was happy to present his credentials to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
"At the meeting, we discussed cooperation in the energy sector, as well as other areas of mutual interest," the ambassador said.
