Egils Levits: ‘Relations between Latvia and Azerbaijan have developed very successfully’

“We have now to celebrate 30 years anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic relations. During the 30 years, bilateral relations between Latvia and Azerbaijan have developed very successfully,” said the President of Latvia, Egils Levits, as he made a press statement following his meeting with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Report informs, citing AZERTAC.
Egils Levits said: “We have many common bilateral issues, which we can promote. But also we have to cooperate on a global level, on an international level.”
