Deputy minister: Azerbaijan-Russia co-op developing steadily despite pandemic

Despite the pandemic, trade and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia is developing steadily, Azerbaijan's Deputy Economy Minister Niyazi Safarov told reporters on the sidelines of the Azerbaijan & Udmurtia business forum in Baku, Report informs.
He noted that thanks to this event, a certain idea of business opportunities in Udmurtia emerged.
Safarov added that B2B meetings will further enhance the opportunities for cooperation.
“Trade and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Russia are developing steadily. At the same time, there is a potential for greater development,” Safarov said.
He noted that during the meetings at the business forum, information was also provided on the progress of restoration work in the liberated Azerbaijani territories and their economic potential.
