CoE chief: Dialogue is key for lasting peace in region

Council of Europe Secretary General Marija Pejčinović Burić met with the team of the Council of Europe Baku office and thanked them for their work.

"Always a pleasure to meet our CoE staff in Baku. Thanks for your excellent work!" she said in a post on the social network X, according to Report.

She also noted that she had good meetings in Baku today with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Speaker of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.

"Dialogue is key for lasting peace in the region," she said.
