The snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan were held in a transparent environment, an observer from the Interparliamentary Assembly (IPA) of the CIS Yuri Volkov, who monitored the voting process at polling stations in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, said, Report informs.
According to Volkov, the elections were held in full compliance with the country's legislation.
"This morning I visited polling station No. 12 of the Nakhchivan city electoral district No. 4, where I observed the active participation of citizens in the electoral process. I also visited other districts of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. I managed to visit the Heydarabad settlement, Julfa and Ordubad districts. I would like to note that there was high voter turnout everywhere. The process was held in accordance with the law," Volkov added.
