China interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan in renewable energy sources

China hopes to expand cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of renewable energy sources (RES), China's Charge d'Affaires in Azerbaijan Ding Tao told Report.
Energy is a new point of contact in bilateral cooperation, he said recalling that the Garadagh solar power plant was commissioned last year.
According to Tao, China is interested in investing in solar energy projects.
He added that China hopes to further contribute to Azerbaijan's green transition efforts.
