Cavusoglu: ‘Azerbaijan rightly says that Lachin and Zangazur corridors should have the same status’

After the Karabakh victory, Azerbaijan offered Armenia a fundamental peace, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at a press conference after the Council of Foreign Ministers meeting of the Organization of Turkic States on October 17 in Istanbul, Report informs.

"Armenia responded positively, albeit late. Azerbaijan rightly says that Lachin and Zangazur corridors should have the same status,” he said.

According to Cavusoglu, the peace talks should be accelerated: “It is crucial for stability in the South Caucasus.”

The minister said that Armenian-Azerbaijani relations also affect the restoration of diplomatic relations between Ankara and Yerevan.
