Bob Blackman: Azerbaijan creates new geopolitical reality in South Caucasus

Bob Blackman, a member of the UK House of Commons and the head of the UK-Azerbaijani Interparliamentary Friendship Group, has sent a congratulatory letter to the Azerbaijani parliament on the occasion of Victory Day, Report was told by the Public Relations and Press Department of the Milli Majlis.

The letter says that the deliberate attack by Armenia on settlements and civilians is a gross violation of international humanitarian law, including the 1949 Geneva Convention.

The letter also says that Azerbaijan has won the 44-day Patriotic War, restored its territorial integrity, and created a new geopolitical reality in the South Caucasus. Britain hopes that the new era in Karabakh will be the era of recovery and reconstruction.
