Biden congratulates nations celebrating Novruz

US President Joe Biden has congratulated the nations celebrating Novruz, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Embassy in Washington.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who attended the Novruz event, congratulated all nations celebrating this holiday on behalf of US President Joe Biden and the people of the United States.

Blinken expressed the hope that all major and minor difficulties in the world will be overcome with the advent of spring.

An online event dedicated to the Novruz holiday was held in Washington DC, jointly organized by the embassies of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkey and Turkmenistan and moderated by the Meridian International Center and the Oxus Society for Central Asia.
