​​On October 3, Baku will host an international conference titled “French Neocolonialism in Africa,” organized by the Baku Initiative Group (BIG), Report informs.

Representatives from Senegal, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Guinea-Bissau, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mauritania, Zimbabwe, Niger, France, and the French-administered Island of Mayotte will participate in the conference.

Among the attendees will be Kemi Seba, a prominent activist and leading critic of French neocolonialism. Seba is widely recognized as a key figure in the movement advocating for African independence, sovereignty, and resistance against neocolonial powers.
