Baku rejects Yerevan's attempt to equate Constitutions

During a joint press conference with Hungarian Foreign and Trade Minister Peter Szijjarto, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov firmly rejected Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan's attempt to draw parallels between the Constitutions of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Report informs.

Minister Bayramov pointed out that Armenia's Act of Independence, Constitution, and other legislative acts contain territorial claims against neighboring countries. While acknowledging that discussions on this matter within Armenian society are a positive development, he emphasized that drawing comparisons between the Azerbaijani and Armenian Constitutions in this regard is unacceptable.

"We consider this inadmissible and inform our other partners about it," Bayramov noted.
