On June 13, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) again visited two Azerbaijani citizens detained in Armenia, Ilaha Huseynova, head of the Public Relations Department of the ICRC's Azerbaijan delegation, told Report.
She said that a one-on-one meeting was held with them and they were given the opportunity to contact their families:
"Under its mandate, the ICRC assesses the treatment and conditions of detention of prisoners during visits and facilitates the restoration or continuation of contact with their families. In accordance with ICRC procedures, observations and recommendations regarding visits are shared only with the detaining party."
