Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin and his Azerbaijani counterpart Samir Sharifov held consultations in Baku to discuss the possibilities of expanding cooperation between their countries, the Russian Foreign Ministry said, Report informs.
“The possibilities of further deepening the political dialogue, and building up trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and interregional cooperation were considered under the provisions of the Declaration on Allied Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 22, 2022,” the Russian ministry said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry added that the senior diplomats also discussed the prospects for Moscow-Baku relations, with an emphasis on current bilateral issues of the day.
