Azerbaijani Prosecutor General pays working visit to Jeddah

A delegation led by Azerbaijani Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev is visiting Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to attend a high-level meeting of heads of law enforcement agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation member states fighting corruption, Report informs, citing the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan.
Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev informed the meeting participants about the large-scale reforms carried out in Azerbaijan to combat corruption and bribery, including legislative and institutional measures. He also noted that Azerbaijan supports the adoption of the Mecca Convention, attaching great importance to legal cooperation within the framework of the OIC.
During the visit, Kamran Aliyev held a bilateral meeting with the President of the Office for Control and Combating Corruption of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mazin bin Ibrahim al-Kamus.
Kamran Aliyev also met Interpol Secretary General Jurgen Stock.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Saudi Arabia, Shahin Abdullayev, also took part in the events.
