Azerbaijani presidential assistant: Int’l law & principles must be strictly observed

Countries that use the veto power in the UN Security Council must justify why they use this power in the General Assembly, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev said during the panel discussions "Rethinking the Global Security Architecture & the Prospects for Peace" at the IX Global Baku Forum, Report informs.
Stressing that the Non-Aligned Movement is a very important platform, the assistant to the president noted that there is no need to reinvent the wheel.
It’s just that international law and principles must be strictly observed, he added.
