Azerbaijani Presidential Aide calls on Turkic States

The war is over. While Azerbaijan is carrying out peacekeeping operations in Karabakh, unfortunately, the information war against our country continues, Hikmet Hajiyev, Presidential Aide, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, said at the 4th Meeting of the Ministers and High Officials in charge of Media and Information of the Organization of Turkic States in Istanbul, Turkiye, Report informs.

"We can see at the world media that the Armenian lobby is still carrying out smear campaigns against Azerbaijan," he said. "This shows that we must increase our joint efforts against such ugly campaigns."

Hajiyev noted that Karabakh and Zangazur are one of the centres of the Turkish-Islamic culture: "You also saw the destruction there last year. As the Organization of Turkic States, we present our cooperation and good intentions to the world. That is our goal."
