Azerbaijani PM, head of Iraqi Kurdistan Region mull bilateral issues

Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Ali Asadov had a conversation with the head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, during the opening ceremony of the Leaders Summit at COP29 held in Baku on November 12.

Report informs that during the conversation, the importance of meetings between President Ilham Aliyev and Nechirvan Barzani and the contribution of those meetings to the development of relations were emphasized.

Moreover, issues related to cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Iraqi Kurdistan Region were discussed.
