Azerbaijani Parliament speaker attends opening of ASEAN IPA General Assembly

Chairman of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova took part in the opening ceremony of the 43rd General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (IPA) of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Cambodia.

Report has learned from the Public Relations and Press Department of the Milli Majlis that during the event, the guests were greeted by the Chairman of the National Assembly of Cambodia, President of the 43rd General Assembly Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin.

The speeches of Cambodian officials were followed by the first plenary session, at which organizational issues were discussed.
