The delegation of Azerbaijan is on a visit to Irpin, Ukraine.
Report's Eastern European Bureau informs that the purpose of the visit is to evaluate the participation of Azerbaijan in the restoration projects announced at the Ukraine Recovery Conference held in London.
Ilgar Isbatov, the deputy chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, Rovshan Rzayev, laboratory director of the Azerbaijan Scientific Research Institute for Construction and Architecture, Elshan Bagirov, a construction expert of the State Housing Construction Agency (MIDA), Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev participated in the visit.
The delegation visiting Irpin will carry out a preliminary assessment of infrastructure projects to be implemented by Azerbaijan in this city.
First, the delegation visited Friendship Park named after Academician Zarifa Aliyeva and laid flowers in front of the monument of Academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
Azerbaijani officials also visited the Irpin Linguistic Humanitarian Lyceum named after Zarifa Aliyeva. This educational institution suffered a lot of damage as a result of military operations.
Thanks to the charitable assistance of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan - SOCAR, the roof and windows of the high school were replaced with new ones, current repairs were carried out in the classrooms, and the heating system was renewed. At the moment, insulation of the facade of the high school building is being continued with the funds of SOCAR, as well as the repair of the shelter is planned.
During the day, the delegation will visit the Irpin Central Hospital, the Central House of Culture, whose building was completely burned due to military operations, the area where the Art Center is planned to be built, the Irpin Children and Youth Sports School, which was completely destroyed as a result of military operations, the area where the residential building will be rebuilt on 3rd street, Gostomelsky highway.
At the same time, they will meet with the head of the city in the building of the Irpin City Council.
