Azerbaijani MFA issues statement on 78th anniversary of Victory over Nazism

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan issued a statement on the 78th anniversary of the victory over Nazism in World War II.

According to Report, the statement reads:

"Today marks the 78th anniversary of the historic victory over Nazism in World War II, one of the most devastating wars in world history. On this significant day marked as Victory Day - May 9, we commemorate with deep respect and honor the dear memory of everyone who fought against the threat of Nazism, which posed a serious threat to humanity, including our heroic compatriots who showed unparalleled bravery and sacrifice during the war."
