Azerbaijani, Maldivian FMs hold phone conversation 

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Maldives Abdulla Shahid.

Report informs that the ministers exchanged opinions on bilateral cooperation between the two countries. Minister Abdullah Shahid underlined with satisfaction the cooperation in the humanitarian sphere and the creation of opportunities for students from the Republic of Maldives to study on the basis of scholarships provided by the Azerbaijani Government.

Bayramov noted Azerbaijan is always ready to provide favorable conditions for citizens of friendly countries to carry out their activities in the field of education.

The sides also mulled the cooperation issues within the international organizations, including OIC, Non-Aligned Movement, UN, and its specialized agencies.

Bayramov informed about the current regional situation after the 44-day war, new realities, implementation of trilateral declarations.

They also discussed other issues of mutual interests.
