Azerbaijani FM receives outgoing Kazakh ambassador

Today, the Foreign Affairs Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Serzhan Abdykarimov on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic tenure in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the ministry.

During the meeting, the parties noted with satisfaction the high level of effective Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, including bilateral cooperation in the economic, trade, investment, transport, transit, humanitarian, cultural, tourism and other fields, and also discussed development prospects.

Noting that relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are based on common ethnic, cultural and historical roots, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted the dynamic development of Azerbaijani-Kazakh relations built on this solid foundation.

The minister thanked Ambassador Serzhan Abdykarimov for his contribution to the relations between the two countries and wished him success in his future activities.

The ambassador, in turn, expressed gratitude for the support provided to him during his diplomatic mission.
