Azerbaijani FM meets with his Bahraini counterpart

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Bahrain's Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani as part of the 8th Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue in Germany, MFA told Report.

They expressed satisfaction with the current state of cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on prospects during the meeting.

The ministers stressed the importance of further deepening cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic, energy, and cultural spheres, as well as discussed issues of cooperation within international organizations. In this regard, the Kingdom of Bahrain praised the support of Azerbaijan's position on global platforms, including within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov briefed his interlocutor on the post-conflict situation in the region, including the restoration, construction, and reintegration work in the liberated areas.

The conference also noted that consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Bahrain, the continuation of political dialogue between the two countries played an important role in exchanging views on various areas of collaboration and discussing issues on the agenda.

The parties also exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
