Azerbaijani FM meets French Minister of state for European Affairs

Baku. 4 December. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has met Minister of state for European affairs of France Harlem Desir.

Report informs, they expressed satisfaction with development of bilateral political economic and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and France.

Minister Elmar Mammadyarov stressed the role of Azerbaijan`s first lady, president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva in development of cooperation between the two countries.

They exchanged views on negotiations process over solving the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with the mediating of the Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group.

Harlem Desir said France as the Co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group supports peaceful settlement of the conflict adding his country would continue its efforts in this regard.

Mr. Mammadyarov said Azerbaijan applauded the efforts of France over solving the conflict.
