Azerbaijani FM holds phone call with newly appointed OSCE Secretary General

On December 9, 2024, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with the newly appointed Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Feridun Hadi Sinirlioglu, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry.

During the call, Minister Bayramov expressed his sincere congratulations to Ambassador Feridun Sinirlioglu, who has extensive diplomatic experience in the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on his unanimous appointment as OSCE Secretary General, and wished him continued success in this important role.

The Secretary General was informed about Azerbaijan's emphasis on cooperation with the OSCE. The parties exchanged views on various issues and prospects of the cooperation agenda within the OSCE framework.
