Azerbaijani FM, deputy PM of Bulgaria discuss bilateral relations

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maria Gabriel, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

During the telephone conversation, the ministers discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria in the political, economic, energy, transport and humanitarian spheres, including cooperation within international organizations, and expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation.

It was emphasized that the high-level visits that took place last year, as well as political consultations between the foreign ministries in December, made a positive contribution to bilateral relations. The role and importance of effective cooperation in the field of energy was noted.

Then an exchange of views took place on other regional and bilateral issues of mutual interest.
