Azerbaijani FM and EU High Representative hold phone talks 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, had a telephone conversation with the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrel, on October 10, 2022, Report informs.

During the phone conversation, the results of the quadrilateral meeting held between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan in Prague on October 6, and the issues arising from it, as well as the situation in the region, were discussed.

Josep Borrel informed about the preparations for the mission of the European Union.

In turn, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his expectations from the Prague meeting in terms of contributing to peace in the region.

The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
