Azerbaijani Embassy in Morocco briefs journalists on COP29 and "Great Return" program

The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Morocco hosted a working breakfast with representatives of several leading Moroccan media outlets.
According to Report, the meeting brought together editors and representatives from prominent publications such as Le Matin, Le 360, Le 12.ma, Al Ahdath Al Maghribia, and Morocco World News, which publish in Arabic, French, and English and reach a wide readership across Morocco.
Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Morocco, Nazim Samadov, provided detailed information on the country's domestic and foreign policy, the current regional situation, the peace process following the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from Armenian occupation, reconstruction efforts in those areas, the landmine issue, the implementation of the "Great Return" program, the activities of the Western Azerbaijan Community, COP29 hosted by Azerbaijan last November, and the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijan-Morocco relations.
The Moroccan journalists emphasized the importance of such meetings in gaining objective insights into Azerbaijan's history, culture, international relations, political and economic landscape, and regional geopolitical realities.
Ambassador Samadov answered media questions on the indicated topics. The meeting participants also exchanged views on the planned visit of Moroccan journalists to Azerbaijan in early July this year. The preliminary program of the visit was also discussed.
