Azerbaijan, Antigua and Barbuda discuss COP29-related issues

Within the framework of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 79), Azerbaijan’s Foreign Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Immigration of Antigua and Barbuda E. Paul Chet Greene, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry wrote on X, Report informs.

“On the sidelines of UNGA 79, Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan had a meeting with E.P Chet Greene, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Trade of Antigua and Barbuda.

Against the backdrop that the two countries' relations have mainly been forged on multilateral platforms such as the UN and Non-Aligned Movement, the importance of stimulating the dynamics of political dialogue and mutual visits for the development of bilateral relations was underlined.

COP29 related matters were in the focus of the meeting,” reads the post.
