Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Friendship Center to be created in Urgench city

An Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Friendship Center will be created in the Uzbek city of Urgench, Report informs.

On October 25-26, the “Week of Azerbaijani Culture and Poetry” will be held in the Tashkent and Khorezm regions of Uzbekistan under the organization of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev.

As part of the event, a collection of books on the history and literature of Azerbaijan will be donated to the Friendship Center.

In addition, various exhibitions and corners dedicated to Azerbaijani-Uzbek friendship, meetings of heads of state Ilham Aliyev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Azerbaijani statehood, history, culture and literature will be organized in the newly created Center.
