Today, during the official visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Ukraine, six intergovernmental documents were signed between the two countries.
Report informs that the first document was signed between the two leaders. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky have signed a joint declaration.
The second document on food security cooperation between the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers and the Azerbaijani Republic was signed by Azerbaijani Energy Minister, Co-Chair of the Intergovernmental Commission Parviz Shahbazov, and Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, and Co-Chair of the Intergovernmental Commission.
Third document - a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on urgent cooperation in bilateral trade between the Ministries of Economy of the two countries – was signed by Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Iryna Vereshchuk, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories and Co-Chair of the Intergovernmental Commission.
Later, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Ukrainian Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Roman Leshchenko signed an MoU on cooperation in the agricultural sector.
Azerbaijani Economy Minister, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Mikayil Jabbarov, and Chairman of the Board of the National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine signed an MoU on cooperation in energy supply between Naftogaz and SOCAR.
The last document was signed by Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Serhii Zavadskyi, acting head of the State Service for Geodesy, Cartography, and Cadastre of Ukraine, was an MoU in the field of land relations, state land management, and state land cadastre.
