Azerbaijan, UAE mull regional issues

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan have discussed the memo of understanding and other agreements on strategic partnership reached during the official visit of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Azerbaijan.

According to Report, they also considered regional and international issues in a phone call.

In addition, as part of the preparations for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the foreign ministers exchanged views on issues of cooperation with the UAE Presidency of COP28.

During the telephone conversation, the diplomats also discussed areas of cooperation on other international platforms.
