Azerbaijan to host 2nd meeting of OTS Heads of Intellectual Property Institutions

The 2nd meeting of the Heads of Intellectual Property Institutions of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) will be held in Azerbaijan, Report informs.

This decision was made at the 1st meeting of the Heads of Intellectual Property Institutions of OTS member states in Bishkek.

Rrepresentatives from OTS, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Türkiye participated in the event.

One of the main issues discussed during the meeting was the initiative to establish the Intellectual Property Organization of Turkic States.

At the end of the event, a Joint Declaration of the First Meeting of the Heads of Intellectual Property Institutions was adopted.

In the declaration, the parties confirmed their determination to strengthen cooperation in the field of intellectual property protection and promotion.
