Azerbaijan to hold its first National Urban Forum in October

The first Azerbaijan National Urban Forum will be held in Aghdam and Baku on October 5 and October 6.
Report informs, citing the UN Azerbaijan office, that the forum will focus on tasks facing the country in the sphere of urbanization.
The main goal of the event will be the exchange of international experience, promoting sustainable urban development and renewal, studying the Azerbaijani model of urban renewal and building contacts with specialists and politicians facing similar problems in various parts of the world.
The forum is organized by the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, the UN Human Settlements Program (UN-HABITAT) and ADA University.
