Azerbaijan to chair Organization of Islamic Cooperation

Azerbaijan will chair the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in 2026.
According to Report, the chairmanship transition will occur during the 16th Islamic Summit of the OIC, to be hosted in Azerbaijan in 2026.
On May 4, 2024, during the 15th Islamic Summit of the OIC held in the Republic of Gambia, it was confirmed that the 16th Islamic Summit of the OIC will take place in Azerbaijan in 2026.
