Azerbaijan takes over chairmanship of ECO

A decision to hand over the chairmanship of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) to Azerbaijan was made at today's meeting of the foreign ministers of the organization member countries in Tashkent, Report informs.

The 26th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the member countries of ECO is being held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov spoke at the meeting.
