Azerbaijan, Serbia organize event in honor of Non-Aligned Movement anniversary

On October 11-12, Azerbaijan and Serbia will organize a high-level jubilee event in Belgrade dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said, speaking at the opening of the constituent assembly of the Youth Network of the Non-Aligned Movement, Report informs.

“The leaders of the organization’s member states, including the foreign ministers of all NAM member states, were invited to the event. The level of the approved participants is quite high and is an indicator of the commitment of the organization’s member states to the historical values ​​and principles of the movement,” the foreign minister said.

The event will provide the NAM Member States with an opportunity to assess the joint actions taken over the past 60 years and reflect on how to respond to interdisciplinary and current challenges with a shared vision.
