Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry spokesman Aykhan Hajizada has commented on the prospects of relations with Washington following the US presidential election.
According to Report, Hajizada told journalists that it is difficult to predict the future policy and steps of the new American administration in advance.
He also emphasized that, despite its rich oil and gas resources, Azerbaijan is aimed at a long-term transition to "green" energy and reducing carbon emissions.
Within these goals, the country is already implementing large-scale projects aimed at developing "green" energy and diversifying its energy infrastructure, he said.
