Azerbaijan’s Lachin to be CIS cultural capital in 2025

The city of Lachin in Azerbaijan will be designated as the cultural capital of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in 2025, Russian Presidential Aide for Foreign Policy Issues Yury Ushakov said at a briefing, Report informs.
Meanwhile, in 2024, the city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan was selected as the CIS cultural capital.
