Azerbaijan’s first deputy PM attends CIS Economic Council meeting in Moscow

On June 21, a meeting of the CIS Economic Council was held in Moscow, during which a wide range of issues of economic cooperation between the Commonwealth countries were considered, according to Report's Russian bureau.

The heads of delegations exchanged views on current issues of economic interaction in the CIS.

Azerbaijan was represented at the meeting by First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyubov.

The meeting participants heard information about the main target macroeconomic indicators for the development of the economies of the CIS member states for 2023, and decided to amend the Concept of the formation and development of an interstate system of training, professional retraining and advanced training of personnel in the field of scientific and technical information, approved by the Decision of the Council of Heads CIS governments dated November 20, 2013.

The next meeting of the Economic Council is scheduled for September 20, 2024 in Moscow.
