Azerbaijan mission head of ICRC finishes diplomatic duties

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Dragana Kojic, the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Delegation to Azerbaijan, whose mission has concluded, on the occasion of the end of her diplomatic activities in the country, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Jeyhun Bayramov thanked Dragana Kojic for her efforts in developing cooperation during her tenure in Azerbaijan and wished her success in her future endeavors.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the ICRC's 33-year activity in the country, the current state and prospects of the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, restoration and reconstruction work in the liberated territories, mine threats, and the fate of missing persons.
At the meeting, Drafana Kojic expressed satisfaction with the support and cooperation provided by the Azerbaijani government to the organization's activities. The importance of continuing cooperation with the ICRC through its headquarters in Geneva after the delegation ceases its activities at the beginning of September this year was emphasized.
