Azerbaijan, Greece discuss preparations for COP29 climate conference

Christos Capodistrias, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to Azerbaijan, met with Mukhtar Babayev, Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, to discuss Azerbaijan's preparations for hosting the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change later this year.
According to Report, which cites the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the meeting involved an exchange of views on the preparatory measures for COP29, which Azerbaijan will host this year.
The sides also discussed environmental protection and future cooperation opportunities between the two countries.
