The first round of political consultations between the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yalchin Rafiyev, and the delegation of the Republic of Djibouti led by Mohamed Ali Hassan, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, was held in the city of Djibouti, Report informs, citing MFA.
Within the framework of Deputy Minister Yalchin Rafiyev's visit to Djibouti, the Azerbaijani delegation met with Djibouti Foreign Minister Mahamoud Ali Youssouf and members of the Djiboutian-Azerbaijani Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group.
The delegations of Azerbaijan and Djibouti considered the possibilities of further diversification of bilateral relations, especially intensification of contacts and business relations in the economic, social, and humanitarian spheres.
It was agreed that the next round of political consultations would be held in Baku next year.
