Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan effectively collaborate within int'l organizations, research center chief says

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are actively collaborating within the framework of multilateral platforms, Farhad Mammadov, head of the South Caucasus Research Center, said. According to Report, speaking at the event "Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan: New Perspectives for Mutually Beneficial Cooperation" in Baku, Mammadov highlighted the fruitful interaction between the two nations.

"The cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan on multilateral platforms, including the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), and the Non-Aligned Movement, has been productive," stated Mammadov. He emphasized that through effective management of bilateral relations, both countries can continue to make coordinated decisions that consider the interests of all member states within these organizations.

The event "Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan: New Perspectives for Mutually Beneficial Cooperation" was jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) and the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
